New Year. New You.

It's that time again! New year's resolutions, toasts, and midnight kisses! The greatest thing about the new year is a chance to start fresh! It's a chance to do the things you've always wanted to do, like run a 10k (ok, who am I kidding... a 5k), finally give your number to the cute guy at the gym, take a baking class, clean out your house (and finally admit that you have some hoarding problems), go scuba diving, read that book you've always wanted to but never made the time for, OR at least attempt to set some goals! Well, for us (Nikki and Heidi), it's a BLOG

Which brings us to the next topic..... the title of our blog! So, the title,"Pull it off," is not to be confused with the art of stripping, which we are by no means experts. It's more of a play on words with finding confidence in yourself and making something happen. On this crazy online dictionary (The Free Dictionary by Farlex... who knows if this is even legit) it says that to "pull off something" is an expression, which means to succeed in doing something difficult or unexpected! How awesome is that? So, we thought this would be a great theme to take on for the year! Don't just SAY you're going to do it, but actually DO IT!

This blog is about fashion, food, travel, confidence, love and LIFE!!! We want women around the world to feel great about who they are, and despite the medias ceaseless attempts to make us believe other wise, we deserve to be "incandescently happy" (fave line from P & P, the new one with Kierra Knightly and that cute, cute Mr. Darsey)!!!

We issue a challenge to the women! To those who are blog-followers, who love life, and live vicariously through others... we challenge you to go out there and be happy! Find things that will leave you feeling inspired! Be a doer! Get off the chair, close that laptop (after reading and commenting on our blog, of course!) and do something "stratospheric" (as Food Network Chopped Judge and All-Star Top Chef contender, Alex Guarnaschelli said,  and I have no idea if it's a real word but I LOVE it!)!!! We challenge you to do things that you never thought you could do, eat things that you never thought your waistband could handle and to wear things that you thought you could never PULL OFF
